Return Refund and Exchange

At RoyalRubies Jewels, we aim to provide a smooth and trustworthy shopping experience. This page explains the detailed process and conditions for Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges.


1. Return Policy

We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • The return request is raised within 2 days of delivery.
  • The item must be unused, unworn, and in original condition.
  • All original contents must be included:
    • Jewellery box & packaging
    • Invoice
    • Certification (if any)
    • Tags must be intact

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Customized or personalized jewellery
  • Engraved items
  • Gift cards, discounted, or promotional items
  • Items showing wear, damage, or tampering

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email us at support@royalrubiesjewels.com with your order number.
  2. Share clear photos and an unboxing video (for damage/defect issues).
  3. Our team will review and arrange pickup where available.
  4. Once received, the item will undergo a quality inspection.

If the item fails the inspection, it will be returned to you.


2. Exchange Policy

You may request an exchange when:

  • The product received is not as expected and meets our return criteria.
  • You want to choose another size or product.

Exchange Conditions

  • Exchanges are allowed only once per order.
  • If the new item is of higher value, the difference must be paid.
  • If the new item is of lesser value, the difference may be refunded as store credit.

3. Refund Policy

Refunds are issued when:

  • The return request is approved and the product passes inspection.
  • An order is cancelled before dispatch.

Refund Timelines

  • Online payments: 5–7 business days
  • COD refunds to bank account: 7–10 business days after bank details are provided
  • Store credit refund: Within 24 hours

Processing times may vary as per bank/payment provider.

Refund Conditions

Refunds cannot be issued for:

  • Customized, engraved, or special-made jewellery
  • Items that fail quality checks
  • Items returned without original packaging or certificates
  • Orders cancelled after dispatch

4. Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Products

If the delivered product is:

  • Damaged
  • Defective
  • Incorrect

You must contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

Provide:

  • Clear photos
  • Unboxing video (mandatory)

After verification, we will process:

  • A replacement, or
  • A refund (after item is returned and verified)

5. Shipping Costs

  • For returns due to our mistake (wrong/defective product), we will bear all shipping costs.
  • For voluntary returns or exchanges, shipping charges may be deducted from the refund.
